The Hearst Tower website was a design project built using Adobe Photoshop and Illustrator.
Hearst Tower provides an interesting portrayal of a few current eco-friendly skyscrapers. To set this tone the website uses varying green color tones and Tahoma font. The rhombus and triangle design resembles the outer structure of the Hearst Tower. To make a cohesive design and bring the picture and colors and words together, some of the triangles in the tower are shaded green to match the lines that list the subject headings. The tower is a revolutionary building for the world that ascends into the sky, so the design aims to be unique and ascends across the page.
Businessmen/women can find information on the site to present to their coworkers and superiors about the benefits of sustainable design with examples of successful office buildings currently in place. The site supplies technical information on the Hearst Tower and other buildings’ designs, materials, water systems, and energy production. Site visitors will become more informed about green skyscrapers and more inclined to build and/or use eco-friendly office space.
